Avromi Klor is the Vice President of Operations for Strategic Properties of North America. Prior to joining the organization, Avromi was CEO and founder of OPEX Consulting, an independent real estate consulting firm based out of Indiana with clients in Florida, Ohio, Illinois and Indiana. He also held the position of Director of Operations for property management company SPSG (Strategic Properties Services Group).
Prior to SPSG, Avromi worked for Lock Joint Tube, a $300+M manufacturing company, as an executive internal auditor, reporting directly to the president with responsibilities toward the CEO of the $1+B parent company.
Avromi went to Indiana University South Bend for accounting, and holds certificates from Purdue University for operational efficiencies, including their highest designation of level 2 Lean manufacturing practitioner. Avromi sits on the Board of Directors for several local philanthropic organizations.
David Roberts joined SPNA in 2014, and serves as Vice President.
Born in Ocean County, David has nearly a decade of real estate experience, building upon the foundations of his family’s historied real estate holdings and management.
With beginnings in the brokerage of debt and equity, David has gained experience in all aspects of real estate transactions, ownership and management. Through experienced resolve and personal integrity, David has helped portfolios flourish through various market conditions.
With responsibilities in overseeing all corporate operations and acquisitions at SPNA, David has been instrumental in creating and implementing the vision and strategy that has fueled the company’s growth. In addition, he is also responsible for the development of SPNA’s operational and internal business processes, leading our team of professionals in the ever-growing drive for greater profitability.
Yitzy has been a driving force behind SPNA’s growth, acquisitions, and value-add strategies for over a decade. His unique perspective of real estate and specific ability to accurately formulate and oversee complex business strategies has enabled SPNA to always remain at the forefront of multifamily investment innovation. In recent years, Yitzy has led SPNA’s targeted Midwest expansion by acquiring over $1B in assets and 7,000+ units.
SPNA originally created successes by improving and stabilizing struggling class “C” buildings in 3rd tier markets. While the team skill and hard work was never lacking, Yitzy led SPNA to mitigate risk and benefit from similar profit margins in class “A”, high-barrier-to-entry markets by buying quality assets at uncommon discounts.
Yitzy’s belief that every interaction and experience should be used to guide future company growth and acquisitions has created a culture that is never satisfied with the status quo. Both a leader and a doer, Yitzy directly involves himself in each stage of the deal cycle from the initial deal sourcing and raising of capital, through closing and business-plan implementation. His creative thinking and effective collaboration with all teams in the organization create exceptional opportunities that are not easily replicated. This has resulted in numerous acquisitions of highly desirable properties at below-market pricing.
The Pre-Condo Deconversion Strategy (PCD) is an example that perfectly portrays the current direction of SPNA under Yitzy’s trailblazing leadership – a direction that will change the face of multifamily real estate in Chicago – and lend strength to SPNA being a dominating force in multifamily for a long time to come.
Saul Kuperwasser has been responsible for the organizational core values, as well as growth and profitability, since inception. He is widely recognized in the industry as the fuel for SPNA’s exceptional growth.
